They are so cute! I'm sure they will soon be flying out of the nest!

Nestlings
It has been a week and a half, so we ran out after dinner tonight to check on our little nestlings! They have grown so much! They are covered with fuzzy down and are starting to grow their adult feathers. Sadly, only 2 have survived. There were 4 little naked birds last week, but we only counted 2 tonight. But these birds look strong and healthy , so it looks like they will make it.

Looks like a fun springtime! We've seen birds nesting, but they've hidden their nests too wel for me to want to go poking around. Brent found a chrysalis out in the back yard, so we'll have a moth before too long! And, our garden is starting to come up -- but just tiny seedlings compared to yours! Better go mow the lawn... :)
That is so fun. They are so much cuter when they get their feathers. Your garden looks great, too!
